Check an AI-built website's memory, disk usage and plan limits
Find growing resource use and determine whether the application needs a fix or more capacity.
In this guide
Open usage monitoring
The website's Overview shows available memory and disk information. Usage and plan in the service view brings together websites, custom domains, databases and plan limits.
Investigate resource use
- Open Usage and plan and compare current counts with the plan limits.
- Compare websites under Memory usage by website. Note separately labeled staging environments.
- Open Logs for a website with high memory use. Look for crashes, repeated startups or intensive processing.
- Check disk usage distribution. If growth comes from application uploads, caches or logging, establish the project's retention requirements before deleting anything.
- Compare the change with recent deployments or traffic growth. Investigate build-time memory failures in the Deploys log too.
Correct and monitor
Fix causes such as unnecessary concurrent processing or an application memory leak, then deploy the tested change. If the workload is normal and capacity is insufficient, Change plan or manage billing opens the service's plan options. Review the price and change conditions before ordering.
If a metric is unavailable
Missing measurement data does not mean zero usage. Allow any running action to finish and check the view again. If the issue continues, send support the website name, time and dashboard error message. Do not delete a database or website to free space without a verified recovery method.
